The Chinese Culture Center invites you to join the "Requiem" documentary screening and Contest Winner Announcement.
"Requiem" is a contemporary art exhibition by Summer Mei-Ling Lee inspired by the untold story of the Chinese American diaspora, and the role of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals' efforts in repatriating dislocated Chinese bodies back home. The documentary film is a moving piece following the journey of the artist throughout the journey as she learns about the history of the bone boxes in relation to the diaspora.
As part of a promotion for the exhibition, CCC is giving away a free pair of roundtrip tickets to Hong Kong for the best comment, supported by the Hong Kong Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. After rounds of votes by a panel of judges, finalists and a winner
The winner will be announced during the event and awarded a pair of roundtrip air tickets to Hong Kong, as well as being invited to visit sites of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.
