Reverie engages the viewer with nature to foster emotional experiences. Organic forms, natural colors, movement and multi-layered interpretation encourage the thought of inner visions with each viewer. This is achieved through spontaneous layering…
The spirit and energy of living things has always been at the core of the works by Nancy Gong.Inspired by the temperament of her Asian background, lyrical abstractions of nature and the Orientcome to life through the use of line, color, texture, balance and the silent beauty of glass. By combining the traditional techniques of stained glass craftsmen and stone carvers, contemporary processes
and her own style of creating texture and painting, her architectural and small works depict various
elements of transition and contrast, with striking color, motion and spontaneity. As the ever-changing
light plays against her integrated design elements, she is able to create unique living, breathing works
of art with a range of personalities. Each marry her signature etched and textured glass with free-flowing modern designs echoing the spirit, energy and beauty of living things.
Today, her works can be found indoors and outdoors in public places and in private collections
throughout the world. She has been affiliated with the Naples Mills School of Arts and Crafts, the
