Back in 1971 we protested against the building of the bridge from the

holiday inn to portsmouth square. Look at that bridge

today! It's an eye sore. It is closed off to the

public. The hotel now wants to distance itself from the community

as much as possible. Had they listened to us, they would have

done themselves a favor and save themselves a ton of money. They just wrote us off as a bunch of

描繪廿一世紀中國高速發展 王寧德「某一天」攝影展揭幕

)知名中國攝影家王寧德昨天在舊金山相機會的展覽廳裏笑得很燦爛,他的「某一天」系列作品在觀眾的掌聲中揭幕了。在這些作品中,他敘述21世紀中國的高速發展,畫面中的人物閉著眼睛身處在幾乎夢幻的境界之中,讓觀眾進入連接著回憶與當前現實的世界。



這是王寧德的作品首次在加州大型的展出, 也是舊金山相機會中國當代攝影師個展系列的首展。由華人藝術家聯盟推薦,安迪-沃爾霍基金會和哥倫比亞基金會資助。中華文化中心將與相機會合作,向美國介紹最具代表的中國當代攝影藝術家及其作品。
