August 31, 2009 CALADAN GALLERY presents a juried exhibition entitled
"Intermingling Senses". When you walk along the shore or hike in the
forest, you slowly become accustomed to the rhetoric of the natural
world. One feels euphoric in reaction to the symphony of the beauty of
it. At the same time somewhere, cars' horns blare paralleling the
sound of conversation; spoons clink against glasses half full. What we
see sends forth sound. All of this is in syncopation, creating a
miasma of gravity and experience. The very act of painting and
sculpting is a dance of molecular harmony. We are forever joined in
the act of creation and its manifestations. We are seeking artists who
find these "intermingling senses" present in their work. We have been
extremely fortunate to be creating an exciting, diverse, and active
meeting place for artists and viewers alike, in a warm and positive
virtual atmosphere since 2003. All mediums except video are
eligible. Please go to: http://www.caladangallery.com to download
prospectus (click on "enter your artwork") OR write to: Caladan
Gallery, Box 391939, Cambridge MA 02139 OR call: 617-838-8929 for more
information. Entry Fee: $20/3 images.
