Daily Lives Exhibit 日常生活
Yerba Buena Center for the Arts
in conjunction with Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco
A joint presentation of the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and the Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco features the Daily Lives exhibit in the Room for Big Ideas gallery at the YBCA. The VIP opening night party at the YBCA was a first look at this new exhibit, as well as the Song Dong exhibit, with the reception open to the public at 8pm. The Daily Lives artists were on hand, with several of the artists conducting workshops for the opening night.
This exhibition is curated by Abby Chen, Artistic Director at the Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco, and coordinated by Kwai Mei Manor, working closely with Nick Colin from the YBCA. This exhibit is created to further the dialogue in Song Dong's exhibit, Dad and Mom, Don't Worry About Us, We Are All Well.
Daily Lives is on display until June 12, 2011. More information can be found at http://www.ybca.org/daily-lives
