About Me (bio) 個人簡曆:
Beili Liu is a Chinese-American artist whose creative work has been exhibited and published extensively both nationally and internationally. She has held solo and group exhibitions, lectures, and presentations in Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, California, Chicago, Bulgaria, Finland, and China. Most recently, she presented a large-scale installation, "Recall", in Fiskars, Finland. Liu's article of her permanent installation "The little house on the prairie" was published in the Ceramics Art and Perception (technical) magazine in Austrilia. Beili Liu has held artist fellowship at Art Farm, NE, Djerassi Foundation, CA, and Fiskars Artist Residency, Finland. Liu received her MFA from the University of Michigan, and is an assistant professor of art at Eastern Michigan University.

Chinese Puzzles: Games for the Hands and Mind

Chinese Puzzles: Games for the Hands and Mind, Runs: July 22 – October 11, 2008, is an exhibition of antique Chinese puzzles from the Yi Zhi Tang Collection and will include traditional puzzles, such as tangrams, nine linked rings, and sliding block puzzles. But it will also have examples of puzzling objects, visual puzzles, and cleverly designed practical objects, such as puzzle rings and multi-step padlocks.
