- I have different artistic styles. One of which is the carefully
described and meticulously detailed Chinese brush painting called Gong Bei,
using sumi ink and colors on rice paper. The others can be landscape, still
life,collage, mono -print....etc. .All on two dimensional surfaces. I first
learned Gong Bei in high school in Hong Kong where I was born, and the other
styles after I graduated from college in the U.S. I keep up with my life
long learning in art by attending workshops and seminars, by volunteering as
a docent at the FAMSF ( deYoung & Legion of Honour), and be being an artist-
in -residence for one month in Santa Fe ,NM. I received many awards for my
paintings which are in private collections nationally and internationally.
